Alisha Green is an award-winning editor and writer with more than a decade of experience.

Her reporting on the environment, health, science, technology, and policy has appeared in publications including Fortune and CityLab. Drawing on her background as a journalist, she crafts compelling communications campaigns that resonate with audiences.

Her editorial leadership experience includes serving as editor-in-chief of Santa Cruz Waves, a bimonthly print magazine covering environmental issues and the outdoor lifestyle along California's Central Coast. She was previously managing editor of Good Times, a print and online publication covering the Santa Cruz region. During Alisha’s time there, the publication won a California Journalism Award for general excellence, and she won an award for her feature story about how conservation photographers spark action to protect wildlife and natural habitats.

Alisha earned a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing and holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Michigan State University, with a specialization in peace and justice studies. She frequently takes new professional courses to stay current on best editing and writing practices. She serves as co-coordinator of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the EFA, organizing and hosting informative events for members. She also volunteers as a social media manager for the EFA, creating content and engaging with followers on the organization’s Instagram.
